With our offices in Sacramento, Stockton, Vacaville, Concord, and Napa, we are able to serve 10 counties throughout the region. Caregiver FAQS
The primary factor that we look for is a passion for caring for others. Not everyone has this mindset and approach to how they live their lives. We believe that any person who has this passion can learn the technical skills to be a successful Care Partner with us. We will work with less experienced individuals to help them improve their skills so that they can be successful with our most challenging clients.
To qualify as a Care Partner, you must have the following items:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check through DOJ and FBI going back to your 18th birthday
- Effective English communication skills. Bilingual a plus!
- At least one year professional caregiving experience
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs
- Excellent professional references
All of our Care Partners have some level of experience providing care for older adults. This experience can vary and can include simply caring for your own parents or grandparents. You do not need to have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate to be a successful Care Partner with ApexCare. But, you must be passionate about serving our client population and have experience working with and caring for older adults. We believe that the passion and attitude towards caring for seniors is more critical than the technical skills that may be required to care for specific clients. We provide initial and ongoing training for our Care Partners and will work with any Care Partner that needs more experience of skill for specific situations.

We have four (5) office locations and each office serves two (2) counties.

- Stockton – Serving San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties

- Concord – Serving Contra Costa and Alameda counties
- Napa – Serving Napa and Sonoma counties
